All students must complete a graduation portfolio. Teachers will grade each entry as distinguished, proficient or competent. All assignments must be graded competent or better to meet graduation standard.
Research Paper
Usually done in Grade 10-12 English, Social Studies, or any other approved area.
Career Awareness
Includes a cover letter, resume, a mock job interview, future plan, and occupational research. Career and Finance Management is also offered at BOCES.
Reflective Entry or Problem-Solving Entry
Usually done in Grade 12 in any subject requiring a persuasive essay or a problem to be solved or debated.
